Our Dream

We dream of a church that is so in love with Jesus that they can't stop talking to Him or about Him.

We dream of a church where unchurched people feel welcome.

We dream of a church that won't stop looking for ways to share the gospel until everyone they know or have the potential to know has come to know Jesus.

We dream of a church that creatively, innovatively, and authentically will take and send the message of Jesus to the world.

We dream of a church where a new Christian is given every opportunity to grow into a mature Christian.

We dream of a church where God is so real that people sense His presence every time they step on church property or encounter church people.

We dream of a church whose whole mind and whole heart is preoccupied with worship of God.

We dream of a church where all the exuberance and reverence of worship can be expressed with freedom and not pressure.

We dream of a church that rises above "saying prayers" to fervently and constantly talking to God about everything.

We dream of a church that enjoys God so much they enjoy life.

We dream of a church where everyone- regardless of race, wealth, or background is genuinely and equally welcome.

We dream of a church that refuses to surrender the next generation to the world.

We dream of a church where children are loved, valued, and are seen as an investment in the future rather than a bother in the present.

We dream of a church where children want to be instead of have to be made to go.

We dream of a church that our children will attend when they are on their own.

We dream of a church that has a reputation in the community for loving one another.

We dream of a church that compassionately and responsibly reaches out with help to those in need.

We dream of a church whose effectiveness is not measured only by the numbers it gathers for worship from its community but also by its godly influence evident throughout the community.

We dream of a church where any sinner in any condition can find help.

We dream of a church that grows through the authenticity of its message and people  instead of the manipulation of its community.

We dream of a church that can't conceive of giving God anything less than their best.

We dream of a church that confidently, persistently and boldly proclaims the essential clear truths of the Bible, yet is humble enough to acknowledge that others may be right in disputed  areas.  

We dream of a church that genuinely lives out the often announced but seldom practiced formula  of in essential things-unity, in non-essentials-liberty, and in all things-charity.

We dream of a church that keeps the main things the main things.

We dream of a church where people are constantly encouraged to higher pursuits of personal  holiness without the constraining fetters of legalism.

We dream of a church where all the fullness of the Holy Spirit is free to work without pressure to demonstrate some specific manifestations.

We dream of a church that really does view other churches and denominations that love Jesus and believe the Bible as co-laborers instead of competitors.

We dream of a church where people-both men and women- passionately and      effectively serve in the areas that God has gifted them and not just where ministry "slots" are filled.

We dream of a church where a host of godly leaders is constantly being developed.

We dream of a church whose primary identification is Christian not a denomination.

We dream of a church that has the wisdom and commitment to keep its personal tastes, preferences, and traditions distinct from its biblical convictions.

We dream of a church that makes the extra effort to be both relevant and right.

We dream of a church where every soul is welcomed, befriended, and cared for by a group of people who love them and notice what is happening in their lives.

We dream of a church where truth is always spoken with love.

We dream of a church where the grounds, buildings and ministries consistently look like we are expecting Jesus arrival at any moment. 

We dream of a church where every ministry is conducted with the fervency and excellence that God deserves.

We dream of a church that can face a changing society and a changing religious scene without bouncing from one extreme to another.

We dream of a church that is willing to change as God leads.

We dream of a church where the word of God is taught so powerfully, systematically, and effectively that a generation is raised up who really know what God says.

We dream of a church where the people are regularly "filled with awe" at what God is doing?

We dream of a church that dares to attempt great things for God and whose best days are yet to come.

We dream of a church that fervently and persuasively seeks to see God's will done on earth as it is in heaven.

We dream of a church God's kingdom is the focus.

We dream of a church that sees eternal life as something we have not only as something we will have.

We dream of a church that is fully missional and purposeful.

In short- we dream of a church that lives up to all the fullness of our biblical heritage- not just our heritage of doctrine but also our heritage of passion?a church that in tangible ways begins to live up to its God-given identity as the Body of Christ.
